Golden Key is an independent publishing company based in Skerries, Co. Dublin. We specialise in niches in the Irish secondary school sector such as the Leaving Certificate Applied (LCA) programme, Technology for both Junior and Leaving Certificate, Foundation Maths for Leaving Cert and Computer Science for Leaving Cert.

New LCA Maths Curriculum

As outlined in Department Circular 0061/2019, four revised LCA module descriptors were due to be introduced in September 2020. These were: English and Communications, Mathematical Applications, Introduction to Information and Communication Technology, and Information and Communication Technology – Specialism.

LCA Maths
We have four new workbooks for LCA Mathematical Applications. These were written by Jackie Pierce and Adrienne Webb, both of whom are very experienced teachers of LCA Maths.  The last book Mathematics and Work will be published in January 2023.
